Swordfish in Cortez, FL

Gormet seafood in a family setting is hard to find while on vacation, but Swordfish in Cortez, Florida does an exemplary job at this. My family ate on the outside deck for dinner, and I had an awesome meal while we enjoyed the band that was playing.

Although there were so many things to order on the menu, I decided to go with lobster mac n' cheese, one of my favorite dishes when I go on vacation.

The Mac n' cheese was super creamy and the lobster brought a unique texture, making the dish more than a comfort food. It was served with yummy garlic toast, which balanced out the heaviness of the pasta.

I shared my Mac n' cheese with another person at my table, while they shared their bacon wrapped scallops with me.

The sweet sauce balanced out the protein of the bacon and scallops, which made it one of the most deleicious scallop dishes I've ever tasted.

All of the staff was super nice and the band that played made the mood really enjoyable. We even got to see the fish producer across the bay, and the men cleaning all the new fish they caught for the day.

I'm excited to make another visit to Swordfish the next time I come to Florida in the new year:)
