Chipotle is a fan favorite across America, and one of my absolute favorite fast food chains. Mexican food is easy to make, but can be super heavy and unhealthy if certain things are chosen (like chips-my personal weakness).
Since summer break is approaching and exams are upon us, I figured why not blog-again- about a place in Florida? Whenever I vacation, I love stopping in Poppo's Taqueria in Bradenton, Florida. Poppo's is a Chipotle style restaurant with antibiotic & hormone free morales in their products.
All of the meat and dairy products served are organic and made fresh daily. Even the tortillas are freshly made and pressed right in front of you while you order.
The usual ingredients at Chipotle are also at Poppo's as well as purple cabbage, lime squeeze, and seafood. Even their soda machine is filled with fruity drinks and colas that have all natural cane sugar and are organic (and believe it or not, they taste way better)!
My favorite order is a burrito with chorizo, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, purple cabbage and tomato. The meat is super tender with flavor in the spices and marinade. The guacamole was amazingly fresh and one of my favorite parts of the burrito.
It is 10X more delicious and the fresher taste is super noticeable compared to Chipotle. If you ever find yourself vacationing down in Bradenton or on Anna Maria Island, definitely make a stop at Poppo's Taqueria for a delicious burrito, taco or bowl. Yum!
My blog is all about faith, family, friends, and food:)
